STARFLOW STARFLOW, a complete hydrographic data collection system, is a unique combination of water velocity, depth, flow and temperature instruments integrated with a fully featured 120K STARLOG MicroLogger. With sturdy outward appearance, heat-resistance characteristic, economy, STARFLOW is an idea flow monitoring system. Through applying information processing technology, STARFLOW is popularly used in environmental monitoring to record and calculate the flow of pipe, open channel, stream and river. And it is suitable for use in a wide range of water qualities ranging from sewerage and wastewater to clean streams, potable water, and even seawater. Integrated with rain gauge and water quality gauge, STARFLOW will form a complete monitoring system for rainfall. STARFLOW is suitable for use in places, where the water depth has no fixed relationship with water velocity and the flow has been affected by lots of factor. STARFLOW measures forward and reverse flow conditions and may be programmed to compute Flow Rate and Total Flow in pipes and open channels. STARFLOW can not only be fixed on the stream, pipe, the bottom of culver to measure the water velocity and water level, but also on the side of bank integrated with a single cable and 12V dc power source. Through providing a R232 socket to connect with the computer, STARFLOW can be programmed and output the data to activate the water quality instrument. Meanwhile, the STARFLOW also provides the SDI-12 socket, which can be used as sensor and logger.
